Mission Statement
The mission of Dancer’s Den NYC is to provide developing dancers, of all backgrounds and levels, a solid technical foundation, while instilling strength both physically and emotionally. The goal is to encourage a good work ethic that allows students to take dance as far as they aspire, whether it be back to their studio, into the professional world, or just for the pure pleasure and love for the art of dance.
MY STORY
Teacher/Choreographer
As a child, dancing was always a beloved hobby. My passion for dance has evolved as I now aspire to share my skills and training with individuals that share my love of dance. Throughout my career, I have trained extensively in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Contemporary and Hip Hop. I studied with world renowned companies such as Alvin Ailey, Joffrey and Complexions. My versatility and expertise as a dancer is my greatest asset. I attribute this success to my bicoastal training and work experiences in both Los Angeles and New York. It has been my aspiration to share my passion, knowledge and experience with the younger generation. I have been teaching and choreographing for more than ten years and have been fortunate to do so all around the world. I have been privileged to see my students discover their natural skills and abilities, and gain results they never dreamed were possible. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a student grow to their full potential. As I continue to pursue my passion I founded Dancer's Den to help dancers set and achieve their goals. I continue to aspire to build skill, physical and emotional toughness and a work ethic so all students self actualize, achieve their dreams, and gain access to another avenue of expression through dance.
BIOGRAPHY
Dancer
A Staten Island native, Samantha has been immersed in the dance world since the age of three. She is a graduate from LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts and later continued her dance training at the College of SUNY Purchase Dance Conservatory. Signed with Clear Talent Group she has worked with artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Nick Jonas, Cardi B, Astr, Wynter Gordon, Bosco, Alyson Stoner and more. Some of her credits include performances on VMAS, Jimmy Fallon, Saturday Night Live, The Michael J. Fox Show, Off-Broadway Show iLuminate (Lead), Aeropostale’s 2015 Spring Video Campaign for Times Square, numerous regional shows across the country and performances for Nike events in Los Angeles, New York, and Nike’s Headquarters in Portland, OR. Now a Monsters of Hip Hop alumni Samantha loves teaching and sharing her knowledge and experience with the younger generation .
